What Is Holistic Therapy?
We believe healing is most effective when we have the opportunity to care for the whole person—not just one part of you.

Our approach to holistic therapy brings together traditional mental health therapy with complementary practices that support the mind, body, and spirit. Depending on your needs and goals, your treatment may incorporate therapeutic conversation, mindfulness, somatic work, energy work, hypnotherapy, time in nature, and animal-assisted experiences.

These approaches are not intended to replace traditional therapy. Rather, they can complement and deepen the therapeutic process, creating additional opportunities for awareness, reflection, regulation, and change.

A Three-Stage Approach

While every person's healing journey is different, we have developed a general three-stage framework to help guide the therapeutic process.

1. Intensive

After your initial intake with your therapist, we may recommend beginning with a series of more intensive, combined sessions. These sessions create space to slow down, establish a foundation for the work, and explore what is happening in both your inner and outer experience. A combined session may include a full hynotherapy or energy-work session, time for quiet reflection and processing, followed by a traditional therapy session. Depending on your individual needs, mindfulness, somatic practices, nature, or animal-assisted work may also become part of your experience.

We encourage clients to set aside several hours for these initial sessions. Many choose to remain on the property afterward, walking the trails, spending time with the animals, or simply sitting in nature to allow themselves time to process and integrate the work.

The frequency of these sessions is individualized, but some clients find weekly combined sessions for several weeks to be especially helpful during this initial phase.

2. Integration

As you begin to build a foundation and gain momentum in your work, we typically transition into a period of integration. Sessions may occur every two or three weeks for several months, depending on your needs and goals.

During this stage sessions are kept to an hour, and may still be combined with energy work or hypnotherapy depending on need. The intention is to continue supporting the connection between the emotional, physical, and energetic aspects of your experience while giving you space to practice and integrate what you're discovering in your everyday life.

3. Maintenance & Renewal

Healing doesn't necessarily end when intensive treatment does.Once you feel more grounded and have established the tools and awareness you need, we may recommend returning for occasional sessions—perhaps every few months or quarterly—to reconnect, reflect, and support your continued well-being.

We think of these visits as opportunities to pause, connect, and ground yourself before life begins to feel overwhelming again.

You are also always welcome to return to the farm simply to spend time in nature, connect with the animals, or participate in our community events.

A Different Way of Experiencing Therapy

Our hope is that therapy becomes more than something you do in an office- we hope it becomes a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and develop a deeper understanding of what you need to heal.

There is no single path that works for everyone. Our role is to meet you where you are, draw from the approaches that are most appropriate for you, and create a therapeutic experience that supports the whole person.

Healing is a process. You don't have to navigate it alone.
